It’s not more information that we need. All the information we could possibly need is out there available for us.
We don’t need a map, a recipe or a carefully crafted plan for what to do. There are enough examples to follow and we’re smart enough to figure it out as we go.
So what is it? Why don’t we build epic businesses? Why don’t we just do what we know we need to do? What’s holding us back?
It is Fear. Some call it the Lizard Brain or the Resistance. It doesn’t matter what you call it. What it really means is that what is holding you back is you.
That’s alright. You are in very good company, in fact the company of every single other human on Earth!
It also means that in order to push through, to make changes, to rise to your potential, YOU need to change. It means you have to change the way you think and/or act and/or feel. You are the boss of you so you can do those things.
You don’t have to do this alone. In fact, you probably can’t do it on your own. It’s really hard to do this on your own. Join a group or start one and invite others to join you. Once you realize that everyone else is struggling with the same feelings you can reach out and help them, thereby helping yourself.
